On July 1st, Tourism Ireland Canada will be acknowledging the many cultural connections between our two countries, and invite you to participate by sharing photos, videos, or messages from you and/or your team on location across the island of Ireland. Photos, videos, and messages will be circulated to our database of trade, media and consumers. Previous examples have included, lighting up iconic locations and attractions red, cake decorating, or flying the Canadian flag outside properties. We’re open to all your creative ideas! As in previous year, and much like our Global Greening initiative for St Patrick's Day, going red for Canada Day highlights the collaboration, friendship and ties between the island of Ireland and Canada on July 1st. However, if lighting is not an option, and the mid-summer bright nights pose a problem, a photo with a Canadian flag or some creative nod to Canada is also very welcome.
