Showcasing the island of Ireland to global travel buyers
Tourism Ireland attends Britain & Ireland Marketplace
Tourism Ireland attended Britain & Ireland Marketplace (BIM) in London recently. BIM is an important B2B workshop, organised by the European Tourism Association (ETOA) each year to showcase Great Britain and Ireland to tour operators and travel buyers from around the world. It involved a series of pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments – providing a valuable opportunity for Tourism Ireland to meet, and do business with, the international travel buyers in attendance.
Aisling McDermott, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Global Partnerships, said: “We were delighted to take part in BIM once again this year. The format of pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments provided a great opportunity to showcase the island of Ireland to key international travel buyers, ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when programming and recommending destinations to their clients in 2025 and beyond. The event provided a great platform to inspire the buyers and spread the word about the many great things to see and do right around the island of Ireland.”
